Long Battery Life (2 x AAA - Not Included) Instructions: Inserting batteries - Remove the battery cover and open it by pulling the device. Insert 3 pieces 1,5 V batteries AAA (batteries not included) and make sure the polarity is correct (+/-). Close the battery compartment until it locks into place.By moving the switch the light is aktiv (On) /inactive (Off).Warning: If a battery has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. If necessary, rinse the affected areas with plenty of water and consult a doctor immediately. Batteries must not be charged, taken apart, thrown into fire or short-circuited. Protect the batteries from excessive heat. Remove the battery from the clock if it is flat or if you do not intend to use the product for any length of time. This will avoid damage that can be caused by leakage. Old devises must not be disposed of with household waste! If the product can no longer be used, every use is required by law to dispose of old devices separately from their household waste, e.g. at a collection point in his community/borough. Waste electrical equipment is accepted free-of-charge there. This ensures that old devices are recycled in a professional manner and also rules out negative consequences for the environment. For this reason, electrical equipment is marked with the symbol shown here. Batteries and rechargeable batteries do not belong in the household waste! As the end use you are required by law to bring all batteries and rechargeable batteries, regardless wheter they contain harmful substances* or not, to a collection point run by the communal authority or borough or to a retailer, so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
